Stephen Thordarson

USA Cycling, Inc.  Level 1 Coach

Stephen Thordarson is an Level 1 USA Cycling licensed coach, certified mechanic and competitive cyclist. He has been coaching since the 1980s and has worked with athletes of all levels from juniors to professionals. He teaches annually at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs and has taught Expert coaching classes all across the country.

Mike Ferren

USA Cycling, Inc.  Level 2 Coach

Mike Ferren is an Level 2 USA Cycling licensed coach and an active racing cyclist. Mike has been a personal trainer and racing as a Category 2 athlete on the track and over 10 years experience racing on the road as well. He works with all levels of competitive and recreational cyclists, as well as triathletes. He has a strong working knowledge of racing psychology and the physical demands needed to be successful on the bike. Mike is a current graduate student majoring in clinical exercise physiology.

Peggy Thordarson

USA Cycling, Inc.  Level 3 Coach

Peggy Thordarson is a Level 3 USA Cycling licensed coach and a competitive cyclist. She has been racing for the last 6 years and has worked with our Junior athletes for the last three years. Peggy is the director of our junior team and has been influential in the overall operation of our development program. She competes on the road and velodrome.
